Minimum requirement of English sentence(s)

Most of students which English is foreign language do not write English sentence well. It also happens to my students. they often make mistakes in writing, even, a simple sentence. So, I put the guidance below to write a well simple sentence in English.

1. A sentence needs a capital letter at the beginning.
e.g.   My name is Lee Shanty.
             We are high school students.

2. A sentence sometime needs  a question mark, or an exclamation point at the end.
     e.g  What is it?
             It is a book.

3. A sentence needs subject(s) and verb(s).
e.g. Sarah cooks rice every morning.
Sarah cooks rice and Winda boils fresh water  every morning.

        Note :
Sometimes we use a finite verb (either a simple verb or an auxiliary, such as is, were, has, had, will, can, might, should, do or does).
e.g  My sister is 20 years old.
               You are my idol.
                I am the younger daughter.
                They will go home soon.

4.   In English, the regular sequence of a simple sentence is SVO (Subject-Verb-Object), with insertions possible at several points in the sequence.

5. A sentence needs an independent "core" idea, which can stand alone. This is known as a main clause or an independent clause.
e.g. When I entered my class, I saw the ghost.
